Join a band, fill a slot in yours, offer a service, or find one. You can hold more than one intent, and the main one shows on your card so people know what a match means.
Build a card that plays
Add photos, a short bio, instruments, genres and availability. Then upload up to three tracks and two short videos. Sidestage makes a 30-second preview that plays straight from the swipe deck.
Swipe the deck
Flip between Musicians, Bands with open slots, and Services. Set your distance. Swipe right to like, left to pass, star to save for later.
Match and talk
When you both say yes, you're on the same bill. Message inside the app, add bandmates to the thread, share a quote or a rehearsal address, and take it from there.
What happens to your files
Straight answers, because it's your work.
- Photos are resized on your phone before upload, so nothing eats your data plan.
- Audio is converted to a streaming-friendly format and a 30-second preview is cut for the card. The full track plays on your profile.
- Video is capped at 60 seconds per clip and streams in the quality your connection can handle.
- Delete anything and it's removed from Sidestage's servers, not just hidden.
- You must own or have permission to use what you upload. Sidestage checks uploads against known recordings.
